Regional law 16 of August, 14th 1999, article 2, paragraph 2 and 3

ARPA operates according to the guidelines of the regional plan, carrying out technical-scientific activity for Regions, Provinces, Municipalities, and territorial associations in mountain region and other public corporations, for the accomplishment of their functions about the prevention and environmental protection.
Moreover, ARPA provides the ASL with the technical-scientific support to the fulfilment of the specific activities bound to the prevention functions, according to regional health service, to the identified subjects and according to aforesaid law.
